In-home veterinary consultation for dogs and cats
A standard home consultation is an in-home veterinary visit to assess illness, injury, or ongoing health concerns. Your pet is examined in a calm, familiar environment, allowing for a more relaxed and thorough consultation.
During the visit, I will take a history, perform a physical examination as required, discuss findings, and recommend appropriate treatment, monitoring, or next steps. Medications, diagnostics, or referrals may be recommended where appropriate.
Blood Testing & Diagnostic Services
Convenient in-home diagnostics for dogs and cats
Blood testing and diagnostic services help assess your pet’s internal health, monitor ongoing conditions, and guide treatment decisions. Where appropriate, samples can be collected during a home visit, reducing stress for pets that find clinic visits difficult.
Testing is only recommended when it is clinically appropriate and will always be discussed with you first.
Microchipping
Microchipping is a simple and effective way to help reunite lost pets with their owners. A microchip is a small device implanted under the skin, usually between the shoulder blades, and provides permanent identification for your pet.
Microchipping can be performed during a home visit and is a quick procedure that causes minimal discomfort. I can also check existing microchips, update details, or assist with registration to ensure your contact information is current and accurate.
Home Pet Euthanasia
Compassionate end-of-life care in the comfort of home
In-home euthanasia allows your pet to pass peacefully in a familiar, calm environment, surrounded by the people they love. I understand how incredibly difficult it is to say goodbye to a beloved companion, and my role is to support you with compassion, patience, and respect throughout this process.

Other Routine Procedures
Some routine procedures can be performed during a home visit, helping reduce stress for pets who find clinic visits difficult. Where appropriate, these can be carried out with or without gentle sedation to ensure your pet’s comfort and safety.
Routine procedures may include nail trims and anal gland expression, particularly for pets who are anxious, painful, or difficult to handle. Each pet is assessed individually, and sedation is only used when it is in your pet’s best interests. All options are discussed with you beforehand so you can make an informed decision.

Our mobile vaccination service provides safe, up-to-date vaccinations for your pet in the comfort of their own home. This is ideal for pets that become anxious at the clinic, multi-pet households, or owners who prefer the convenience of an in-home visit.
